Foodie's Feast Purchases Haley's Package Store

Paul and Julie at Foodie's Feast are excited to announce their take-over of Haley's Package Store, right next door to Foodie's at 112 Washington Street. The new name is Haley's Wines and Spirits. Since the change in mid-May, they have added over 90 new wines and expanded the beer selection to include more microbrews and imported beers. "We are very excited and many people have already congratulated us on the new look and improved selection," Julie says. Come in and take a look!

Foodie's Feast in February 2007 Gourmet Magazine

In an article titled: "Northern Exposure", local food writer, Julia Glass, waxes poetic on the stark beauty of winter and places to dine and visit from Marblehead to Cape Ann. In it, Foodie's is simply described as a "hole in the wall ...(that) makes fabulous "rock cakes" for breakfast and satisfying soups for lunch." We're honored!

In the article "By the Sea, History Holds Its Ground", Massachusetts resident Pamela J. Petro, says "I first followed my nose to Foodie's Feast, where I had a remarkably good grilled portobello mushroom on a baguette, then wandered at will." Foodie's is also listed at the end of the the article as one of four places to eat while in Marblehead.
